FRC 9470 Community Outreach
STEM SUMMER PROGRAM
Team 9470 hosts an annual FREE summer program designed at training members of the community towards building a competition-ready robot.
Served over 50 people through two years
Members learn skills such as fabrication, construction, wiring, and elements of design and programming
In 2025, members of our summer camp represented 9470 at Sunset Showdown, rebuilding our NCI robot, where they placed as A4P1.

FCSN 3D-PRINTED DEMO
Donated 40 TOYS to Friends of Children with Special Needs
Used in sensory rooms and given to kids with special needs, such as ADHD
Upcoming plan to host a toy drive (with other FRC teams) towards some initiative
FRC PRACTICE FIELD
Co-building an FRC practice field with FRC Team 8033
Hosted over a dozen FRC teams last year, potentially hosting FTC/FLL teams (maybe up to 15)
Building a lasting, physical impact in the community as one of the only accessible full-size FRC practice fields in the Bay Area
means a lot considering how practice fields directly correlate to team success
CODENINJAS MENTORING
Mentor 5 FLL, 2 FTC, 1 FRC team through CodeNinjas, an afterschool program for children of all ages
Provide guidance and mentorship/supervision towards FLL teams
Provide strategy, insight, technical support towards FTC and FRC teams
STRATFORD BLACKFORD MENTORING
Mentor FRC team 10252 - SPB (Stratford Preparatory Blackford) about strategy, design, and robot construction
